Gildo Senape is a rich mustard-gold satin with a softly luminous face. The plain swatch shows gentle tonal variation across its fine, smooth surface rather than a printed motif.

About this fabric

This colourway leans warmly golden, with a mellow senape depth that becomes brighter where the satin catches the light. Fine horizontal surface traces and delicate shifts in sheen give the otherwise plain cloth a quiet sense of movement. Its fluid-looking finish makes it particularly suitable for drapery, where folds would emphasise the changing light across the gold tone. Dedar lists it as a Fabric in the Satin fabrics collection; no composition, width, rub test or other performance specification has been supplied.

How to use it

Pair Gildo Senape with chalky neutrals, dark timber or aged brass to draw out its warm mustard glow. As curtains, its subtle sheen can add richness without introducing a visible pattern.

Use its warm mustard-gold sheen for full-length curtains or softly gathered window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
