Pin019 Rouche Champignon

Trimmings Fabric014

Pin019 Rouche Champignon combines a softly muted mushroom-taupe tone with a richly tactile, looped fringe construction. Its pale neutral surface shifts between warm beige and silvery taupe as the light catches the threads.

About this fabric

The visible band is formed from closely packed horizontal threads, topped with repeating looped arches that create a defined passementerie edge. Below it, long cut fringe falls in dense, uneven strands with a fluid, almost liquid sheen. The colour reads as a warm greige-mushroom shade, with deeper taupe shadows between the strands rather than a flat beige. This combination of sculptural texture and reflective fibre gives the trim a distinctly luxe finish for upholstery detailing.

How to use it

Use Rouche Champignon to frame upholstery in pale stone, mushroom or deeper brown-taupe schemes, where its warm neutral tone can soften the contrast between fabric and wood. The long fringe is especially effective along the front edge of a chair, stool or decorative cushion.

Use the lustrous mushroom-taupe fringe to add a richly tactile finish to upholstered edges, cushions or decorative panels.

Pairs well with

Pin019 Rouche Champignon is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
