About this fabric

This colourway in the Brodsworth collection shows a dense, horizontal slub texture that softens the surface and catches the light in fine, broken lines. Made from 100% polyester and supplied at 140cm wide, it has a practical handle suited to everyday interior use. The pattern repeat is 0cm, so the interest comes entirely from the texture and tonal movement rather than a printed motif. Kensington Teal feels cool and composed, with a slightly lustrous finish that makes the blue-green shade look richer as the light shifts across it. Care instruction NQT1< is supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Kensington Teal on an accent chair, headboard or banquette where its textured surface can add depth without a pattern. It works especially well with walnut, brass and chalky neutrals for a crisp, contemporary scheme.

Pair with warm woods and pale neutrals to let the teal texture stand out.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
