Verdant Chintz

Digital Prints Fabric

Verdant Chintz pairs a pale cream ground with branching botanical trails in sage, blush, coral and leaf green. The print feels airy and gently vintage, with the darker stems giving the design a graceful sense of movement.

About this fabric

This 100% cotton fabric has a natural, slightly crisp handle that suits it to drapery, while the 140cm width makes it practical for curtains and other wider make-ups. The repeat is a noticeable 58cm vertical by 47cm horizontal, which helps the trailing branches and scattered leaves keep their rhythm across a larger drop. In this colourway, the cream base keeps the palette light, while the coral and red leaf notes add warmth without making the design feel heavy. The overall effect is soft, fresh and decorative, with enough colour variation to sit comfortably in a room that needs pattern but not darkness.

How to use it

Use Verdant Chintz in a bedroom, sitting room or garden room where its fresh cream ground and leafy colourway will soften the space. It works especially well with painted wood, pale timbers and warm neutrals that echo the fabric’s natural, relaxed mood.

Best for loose curtains or light blinds where the airy leaf pattern can read clearly.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
