About this fabric

This colourway has an airy, watercolour quality, with the flowers and leaves appearing softly brushed rather than sharply outlined. The 140cm width and 39cm vertical pattern repeat make it suitable for patterned curtains, blinds or lighter decorative upholstery applications where the design can be shown to advantage. Its 42% cotton, 38% polyester and 20% linen composition gives the surface a natural, softly textured character that suits the meadow-like palette. The cream ground keeps the mix of teal, mustard, olive and grey tones fresh rather than heavy, so the overall effect stays light and easy to live with. Care instruction NQT1< should be followed to preserve the printed finish.

How to use it

Use it in a country-inspired sitting room or bedroom where the soft multicolour print can sit against painted woodwork, pale oak and quiet neutrals. It also works well as relaxed drapery when you want colour without a strong contrast.

Lovely for airy curtains that bring a gentle, painterly garden feel to the room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
