About this fabric

This colourway has a restrained slate-grey tone with a slight blue cast, so it feels cooler and more architectural than a soft charcoal. The tiny woven texture is visible across the surface, creating a gently mottled hand that catches light without any obvious pattern. Made from 100% Recycled Polyester and supplied at 150cm wide, it offers a straightforward, versatile cloth for schemes that need a plain but substantial grey. With a pattern repeat of 0cm, it is especially easy to match across larger upholstered pieces or wider drops of drapery. The overall effect is smart and understated, with enough depth to sit comfortably beside timber, metal and stone finishes.

How to use it

Use it to anchor pale neutrals, oak and brushed metal, or pair it with ink blue and soft white for a sharper contemporary scheme. Its cool slate depth also makes it a good backdrop for textured cushions and lighter accent fabrics.

A cool slate tone that works neatly across upholstery and relaxed drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
