Zinc Duck Egg

Glamour Fabric

Zinc Duck Egg has a cool, watery blue ground with a softly reflective finish that picks out the woven texture across the surface. The abstract pattern reads as layered and textural, with lighter duck-egg highlights moving over a deeper blue base.

About this fabric

From Fryett's Fabrics' Glamour collection, this fabric is made from 100% polyester and has a 140cm width with a 20cm pattern repeat. The surface has a crisp, lightly slubbed look that gives the design depth, while the sheen catches on the raised areas to emphasise the pattern. In this colourway, the blue sits firmly on the cool side, softened by pale duck-egg notes rather than feeling bright or coastal. That muted contrast makes it feel polished and contemporary without losing its relaxed texture.

How to use it

Use Zinc Duck Egg on a tailored occasional chair, a cushioned banquette or full-length curtains where the light can pick up its subtle sheen. It pairs neatly with white, pale oak and brushed nickel for a fresh, cool scheme.

A cool duck egg tone that brings quiet sheen and texture to relaxed contemporary schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
