Hadleigh FR Charcoal

Katrine FR Fabric

Hadleigh FR Charcoal is a deep, low-key grey with a softly mottled surface that gives the fabric quiet depth. The close weave reads crisp and tailored, with tiny lighter flecks catching the light across the charcoal ground.

About this fabric

Hadleigh FR Charcoal from the Katrine FR collection is made from 100% polyester and has a 140cm width, with no pattern repeat to interrupt the surface. In this colourway the charcoal tone is cool and grounded rather than flat black, with faint lighter yarns creating a measured, textile-led speckle. The weave has a neat, compact appearance that gives it a smart, contemporary character. It is a versatile fabric choice for upholstery or drapery where a subdued dark neutral is needed.

How to use it

Use this charcoal shade to anchor pale walls, timber finishes and brushed metal details, or layer it with stone, ink blue and soft greys for a sharper scheme. Its muted depth works especially well when you want contrast without harsh black.

A restrained charcoal with a subtle woven fleck, ideal for clean-lined contemporary schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
