Misc Fabric

Boxgrove Ochre shows a soft, painterly floral scatter on a warm cream-and-ochre ground. The print feels airy and organic, with the ochre lending the design a sunlit, gently aged character.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% cotton, Boxgrove Ochre comes on a 137cm width with a 68.5cm pattern repeat and care instructions EQW1<. The swatch shows a delicate botanical print with loose, brushy flower heads and fine stems, giving the surface a light, sketchlike movement. Its ground reads as a soft warm ochre cream rather than a bright yellow, so the overall effect is mellow and earthy. Small touches of pink, grey, black and olive sit lightly across the cloth, keeping the colourway fresh without losing its cosy tone.

How to use it

This colourway works well with pale timber, rattan and washed linens, where the ochre base can add warmth without overpowering the room. It would suit relaxed upholstery or softly tailored curtains in a space that needs a gentle, autumnal lift.

Use with aged woods and muted neutrals to let the ochre ground and painterly flowers feel softly lifted rather than busy.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
