Porter & Stone

Gingko Burnt Orange

Misc Fabric

Gingko Burnt Orange pairs a crisp cream ground with fans of burnt orange and soft blush tones, giving the design a warm, autumnal lift. The bold repeated motif reads clearly across the surface, with a lively, slightly painterly edge.

About this fabric

This Porter & Stone fabric is composed of 91% polyester and 9% cotton, with a 137cm width and a 35.5cm pattern repeat. The print shows overlapping gingko-like forms in burnt orange, rust and pale peach, set against an off-white base that keeps the overall look bright rather than heavy. The motif has a soft feathered texture at the edges, so the colourway feels warm and organic, with enough contrast to register well from across a room. With no performance features noted, it is best approached as a decorative textile for everyday interior schemes rather than a technical contract fabric.

How to use it

Use it to bring warmth to a neutral scheme, especially with natural woods, stone, and matte creams. The burnt orange tones will feel especially rich on upholstered accent chairs, cushions, or tailored curtains in a light-filled room.

A warm statement print that works well on accent upholstery or full-length curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
