About this fabric

Woven in a 52% polyester, 48% cotton blend, Fontainebleau Chintz measures 140cm wide with a 24cm pattern repeat, making the motif easy to plan across larger cuts. The fabric shows a light, linen-like texture in the ground cloth, with the print sitting crisply on top rather than sinking into a heavy pile. In this colourway, the beige base feels mellow and slightly honeyed, while the pale yellow heads and red floral heads add a soft but lively contrast. The overall effect is airy and decorative, with enough body for upholstery and enough visual clarity for curtains or blinds. Care code NQT1< applies.

How to use it

Use it on a compact armchair, banquette or tailored curtains where the warm beige ground can keep the room light. It sits well with oak, painted cream and deeper berry accents drawn from the motif.

Pair with natural woods and muted reds to let the small floral motif feel fresh but unfussy.
