Slaidburn Linen

What's New Fabric

Slaidburn Linen is shown here in a very soft ivory cream, with the floral pattern appearing almost tone-on-tone across the surface. The result is light, airy and understated, with just enough surface texture to keep the design from reading flat.

About this fabric

This colourway has a pale ivory base with a gentle cream-over-cream motif, so the pattern sits quietly in the background rather than making a strong contrast. The 49% poly, 45% cotton and 6% linen composition gives it a practical woven feel, while the 140cm width makes it straightforward for larger schemes. The 31.5cm pattern repeat suggests a repeating floral layout that will read neatly across curtains or upholstered pieces. Its muted, chalky warmth feels softer than a stark white and works especially well where you want a refined, traditional look without a heavy colour statement.

How to use it

Use this soft cream version alongside painted timber, pale oak and brushed brass for a calm, layered room. It is particularly effective in spaces that need pattern but still call for a light, restful finish.

A quiet ivory ground that lifts the delicate floral pattern without feeling stark.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
