Aylsham Green

Winslow FabricBF11171.1

Aylsham Green presents a muted sage-green ground scattered with fine vertical sprigs of coral, cream and warm yellow flowers. The closely spaced motif gives the colourway a softly detailed, garden-inspired character without overwhelming the ground.

About this fabric

This Winslow fabric is made from 61% cotton, 21% linen and 18% polyester, with a 135 cm (53.04") width. Its small floral sprigs run in narrow vertical columns, with coral and peach blossoms, pale cream details and warm ochre accents standing out against the cool, subdued green. The 20 cm (7.86") vertical repeat and 15 cm (5.89") horizontal repeat keep the pattern finely paced across the cloth. It is supplied for curtains and bedspreads and must be professionally dry cleaned; do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use Aylsham Green for relaxed curtains in a country or botanical scheme, pairing its sage tone with warm ivory, natural linen and small touches of coral taken from the flowers. It can also bring gentle colour continuity to a bedspread without making the room feel busy.

Use the muted sage ground and delicate coral floral sprigs for softly traditional curtains or coordinated bedspreads.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Aylsham Green without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
