Ario Wide Width Riviera is a softly muted aqua-teal cloth with a quiet, finely woven surface. The broad plain field lets its cool blue-green tone read clearly without a visible motif.

About this fabric

The swatch shows an even plain weave in a pale Riviera shade that sits between blue and green, with a slightly softened, atmospheric quality rather than a bright turquoise intensity. Fine vertical and horizontal threads create a restrained textile texture across the surface, while the changing light gives the colour gentle tonal variation. At 198 gsm, this is a relatively light fabric suited to drapery, and its 308 cm usable width is particularly useful for broad curtain drops. Both the vertical and horizontal pattern repeats are 0 cm, confirming the uninterrupted plain character visible here.

How to use it

Use the cool aqua-teal tone for full-height curtains in a light, restful scheme, pairing it with chalky whites, pale timber and soft grey upholstery. Its plain surface can also temper rooms containing stronger pattern or warmer natural textures.

Use this softly muted aqua-teal cloth for full-height curtains where its wide width can create a calm, continuous expanse.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
