About this fabric

The large-scale floral arrangement has an expressive, painterly appearance, with translucent-looking blush petals, mauve blooms and charcoal-edged flowers visibly dispersed across the pale ground. Its 85.7cm vertical and 137.2cm horizontal pattern repeat makes the placement of the larger flowers an important consideration on a chair, sofa or full-length curtain. At 300 gsm, with a 137 cm usable width and 49.5 threads per cm, this is a versatile mid-weight fabric suited to both upholstery and drapery. The photographed surface reads as even and softly matte, allowing the damson and viola tones to remain muted rather than highly saturated.

How to use it

Pair this colourway with warm ivory, putty or soft grey furnishings to echo its ground, or introduce deep plum and charcoal accents to draw out the darker flower centres. It works particularly well where a room needs a romantic floral note without becoming brightly coloured.
