About this fabric

The swatch shows a charcoal-and-cream check crossed by fine gold lines, with the darker blocks reading cool and smoky against warmer pale sections. At 500 gsm and 140 cm wide, it has a substantial woven presence suited to upholstery. Fine intersecting threads soften the edges of the 35 cm vertical and horizontal repeat, giving each square a lightly brushed, irregular surface rather than a hard graphic grid. The supplied data records 52 threads per cm and a standard length of 25 m.

How to use it

Use the charcoal blocks to anchor a chair, headboard or sofa, while the cream and muted gold threads bring warmth to the surrounding scheme. The medium-scale check suits tailored upholstery where its 35 cm repeat can be positioned clearly across the form.
