Fauvisimo Edit FabricHAF0141-04

Verdaccio Mustard/Maize/Seal brings a painterly floral arrangement to a soft cream ground, with mustard blooms set against blue, seal and pale neutral brushstrokes. The colourway feels warm at its centre but is balanced by cool blue foliage and flowers.

About this fabric

The design is made up of loosely painted stems, leaves and open blooms, with mustard and maize flowers providing concentrated warmth among dusty blue, greyed seal and ivory tones. At 300gsm and with 19.5 threads per centimetre, it has the substance of a versatile mid-weight textile suited to both upholstery and drapery. The fabric has a usable width of 137cm and a pattern repeat of 71cm vertically by 137cm horizontally, useful specifications when planning full-width floral placement. Its layered brushwork gives the cream background a softly textured, artisanal appearance rather than a flat, uniform field.

How to use it

Use this colourway on a reading chair, bench or relaxed pair of curtains where its mustard flowers can warm a neutral room. Echo the cooler blue and seal marks in painted cabinetry, cushions or ceramic accents.

Use the warm mustard blooms with natural woods, while the blue and seal brushstrokes add cooler contrast.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
