Trattino Heather / Grape / Mustard

Fauvisimo Edit FabricHAF0140-02

Trattino Heather / Grape / Mustard layers heathered grape, plum, mustard, blue, cream and soft green into a lively field of irregular vertical marks. The woven surface gives the colourway a tactile, painterly depth rather than a flat printed appearance.

About this fabric

This substantial 425gsm fabric is woven with 26.8 threads per centimetre, giving the closely textured ground a confident upholstery presence. Short, uneven vertical blocks create a broken stripe effect, with the 63cm vertical and 69cm horizontal pattern repeats keeping the arrangement rhythmically varied. Heathered grape and plum provide the deepest notes, while mustard, pale cream, blue and muted green lift the design with contrasting flashes of colour. With a 137cm useable width and 40m standard length, it is practical for considered upholstery schemes where the directional motif can be shown clearly.

How to use it

Use the grape and plum marks as an anchor on an armchair, headboard or compact sofa, then pick out the mustard and blue accents in cushions or painted joinery. The pale cream and softened green threads help balance the richer purple tones in a layered, colour-led room.

Use this substantial multicoloured weave to bring lively vertical rhythm to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
