About this fabric

Vertical bands of charcoal, mocha and brass alternate with pale grounds, while fine feather-like marks run inside each stripe. The charcoal reads cool and smoky; mocha and brass add warmer brown-gold threads without making the colourway bright. At 347 gsm and 143 cm usable width, it has a substantial woven handle suited to upholstery. The pattern measures 33 cm vertically and 24 cm horizontally, allowing the narrow directional stripes to be aligned across a piece.

How to use it

Use this colourway on a tailored armchair, headboard or sofa where the cool charcoal can anchor the scheme while mocha and brass pick up warm timber and aged-metal accents. Its vertical stripe direction can also emphasise the height of a chair back or upholstered panel.

Pair the cool charcoal and pale ground with warm timber, aged brass or mocha leather for a balanced upholstered scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
