About this fabric

This substantial 347gsm fabric is well suited to upholstery, with a 143cm usable width for practical cutting. Its vertical pattern repeats every 33cm and measures 24cm horizontally, creating a clear rhythm of alternating blue and shell bands. Indigo provides the deepest tone, while the paler sky-blue and shell stripes bring a light, slightly weathered balance to the design. Fine diagonal, feather-like marks are visible within the woven stripes, giving the surface depth rather than a flat printed appearance.

How to use it

Use this cool indigo-and-sky colourway on a statement armchair, headboard or compact sofa, balancing it with shell linen, pale wood and muted blue accessories. The vertical stripes can also help emphasise height on upholstered panels.

Pair the cool blue stripes with pale timber, shell upholstery and softly textured neutrals.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
