About this fabric

Maslina Sienna/Sky is a dense velvet with a pale ivory ground, alternating warm sienna-gold and cool sky-blue horizontal bands. The bands are built from tiny repeated dashes and cross-like marks, giving the stripe a measured, woven rhythm rather than a plain line. At 740 gsm and 137 cm usable width, it has the substance expected for upholstery. The pattern has a 37 cm vertical repeat and a very narrow 1.5 cm horizontal repeat, while the dense construction measures 81 threads per cm.

How to use it

Use this colourway on a tailored sofa, bench or occasional chair where the warm sienna can bring depth without losing the freshness of the sky-blue and ivory. Echo the blue in painted cabinetry or cushions and let the fine horizontal rhythm contrast with larger, quieter forms.

Use the cool sky-blue bands to temper the warm sienna on tailored upholstery, with ivory nearby to keep the dense stripe light.
