About this fabric

This 409 gsm fabric has a dense woven appearance, with looping leaves, curling stems and stylised flower heads arranged across the burgundy-brown ground. Turquoise is the strongest contrasting note, joined by rusty spice, muted pale blue and small light highlights that catch across the textured motifs. With 62 threads per cm, the surface reads as substantial and tactile rather than fine or fluid, making it well suited to upholstery. The usable width is 126.5 cm, with a 39 cm vertical repeat and 63 cm horizontal repeat for planning pattern placement.

How to use it

Use this warm burgundy and spice colourway on a statement armchair, footstool or sofa, balancing its turquoise accents with dark timber, aged brass or quiet neutral walls. Keep surrounding textiles simple so the intricate woven repeat remains the focal point.

Use this richly coloured woven upholstery fabric to bring burgundy warmth and turquoise contrast to a statement chair or sofa.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
