Ajal Sky presents a cool, pale sky-blue geometric weave with a delicate, tightly repeated motif. Its almost frosted colour is lifted by the light ground, giving the swatch a crisp, airy appearance.

About this fabric

Fine vertical rows of linked diamond and oval motifs create a small geometric pattern across the pale blue and soft white ground. The cool sky tone remains muted rather than saturated, while the woven surface gives the design gentle depth as the light moves across it. At 295 gsm, with 52.5 threads per cm, the cloth has a substantial mid-weight presence suited to both upholstery and drapery. It is supplied at a usable width of 140 cm, with a 5 cm vertical repeat and 4.5 cm horizontal repeat.

How to use it

Use Ajal Sky to bring a quiet, cool lift to an occasional chair, headboard or tailored curtain, especially alongside chalky whites, pale grey and light timber. Its small-scale geometry can add structure without overpowering a softly coloured room.

A cool, finely patterned blue that brings crisp tonal texture to upholstery, curtains and blinds.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
