About this fabric

This 218 gsm textile has a usable width of 140 cm, giving the leafy composition room to unfold across upholstery or window treatments. White and ivory fern-like leaves sit over muted taupe, while grey-brown branch lines create a softly defined woodland effect. The pattern has a substantial 74 cm vertical repeat and a broad 139 cm horizontal repeat, making the full scale an important part of its visual character. Its 40 threads per cm specification supports the closely woven feel suggested by the swatch.

How to use it

Use Ceiba Taupe to soften a reading chair, headboard or full-length curtains in a room built around warm whites, chalky greys and pale timber. Its low-contrast taupe foliage works especially well where a botanical pattern is wanted without introducing a strong colour accent.

A softly layered taupe botanical for upholstery, curtains and relaxed room schemes.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Ceiba Taupe without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
