About this fabric

Woven in 100% cotton, this fabric has a usable width of 137cm and a horizontal pattern repeat of 35cm, making the stripe easy to plan across larger spans. The cloth is rated Heavy Domestic with a Martindale score of 30,000, and it is suitable for accessories, drapery and upholstery, with FR treatment available for both curtains and furniture. In this colourway, the navy stripes read bold and anchoring, while the thinner red and pale blue lines keep the overall effect light rather than heavy. The weave shows a neat, slightly textured surface that suits the nautical palette without feeling stiff or glossy.

How to use it

Use it for upholstered dining chairs, bench cushions or a tailored headboard where the stripe can run cleanly and feel smart but relaxed. It also makes lively curtains in a pale room, especially where the navy bands can pick up darker wood or painted trim.
