Portland Somerville Mineral Flat is a fine vertical stripe with a clean, airy rhythm and a distinctly cool grey palette. The narrow bands give the swatch a tailored, pared-back look that reads fresh rather than bold.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% cotton, this fabric has a dry, natural handle and a crisp vertical stripe repeat of 35cm across a usable width of 137cm. The design combines pale mineral grey, silvery mid-greys and soft white to create a light, understated surface with subtle tonal movement. With a heavy domestic upholstery grade and 30,000 Martindale, it is practical enough for everyday seating as well as drapery and accessories. Treatable for FR drapery and upholstery, it also offers colour fastness of 5 and pilling of 4, supporting a neat finish in regular use.

How to use it

Use it on compact armchairs, bench cushions or fitted blinds where the slim grey stripes can bring order without feeling stark. It sits especially well with white paintwork, pale oak and other cool neutrals.

A crisp, cool stripe that feels tailored on seating and quietly elegant at the window.
