Portland Somerville Citrus Flat has a clean, vertical stripe pattern in pale cream, muted yellow and warm ivory. The effect is bright but softened, giving the swatch an easy, sunlit feel.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% cotton and finished at 137cm wide, Portland Somerville Citrus Flat has a neat tailored look with a 35cm horizontal pattern repeat and no vertical repeat. The small-scale stripe combines soft ivory grounds with narrow citrus and beige lines, so the colour reads fresh rather than vivid. It feels light and airy in the image, but the 30,000 Martindale and Heavy Domestic rating make it suitable for upholstery as well as drapery. It is also treatable for FR drapery and upholstery, with colour fastness rated 5 and pilling rated 4.

How to use it

Use this citrus stripe on smaller upholstery pieces, blind trims or relaxed curtains where the pale yellow can bring warmth without overwhelming the room. It pairs especially well with white paint, light oak and other gentle neutrals.

A fresh citrus stripe that lifts bright schemes without feeling too bold.
