About this fabric

Woven in 100% cotton, Portland Rose 2 has a usable width of 137cm and a 35cm horizontal pattern repeat, giving the stripe a measured, architectural rhythm. The fabric is graded Heavy Domestic with a Martindale rub test of 30,000, making it suitable for upholstery as well as drapery and accessories. In this colourway, the palette sits between cream and dusty rose, with a soft beige ground and warmer taupe-pink bands that feel warmer and gentler than a cool neutral stripe. The visible texture is crisp but not harsh, so the design keeps its tailored character while still feeling relaxed. It can be FR treated for both drapery and upholstery where required.

How to use it

Use Portland Rose 2 on a pair of relaxed curtains or a compact armchair to bring a warm, linen-like softness into a room. Its muted rose-beige stripe works especially well with aged brass, pale oak, and other quiet neutral finishes.

A gentle rose-beige stripe that feels calm and tailored in both upholstery and drapery applications.
