About this fabric

Woven in 100% cotton, Portland Riviera Wavy has a usable width of 137cm and a 35cm horizontal pattern repeat, making the stripe read clearly across drapery and upholstery projects. The visible ground is a warm ivory-beige, while the stripe colours shift through cool navy, slate and washed denim tones for a layered, slightly weathered look. Its 30,000 Martindale rub test and heavy domestic upholstery grade make it suitable for seating as well as curtains and accessories. Treatable for FR drapery and upholstery, it balances practicality with the relaxed rhythm of the wavy stripe.

How to use it

Use this colourway to add movement to a calm neutral scheme, especially where the cool blue stripe can sharpen pale oak, chalky paintwork or soft grey upholstery. It works well on statement chairs, Roman blinds or full-height curtains when you want pattern without overpowering the room.
