Islabank Stripe Garnet

Lochore Meadow Fabric

Islabank Stripe Garnet has a deep garnet-red ground with fine, uneven striping woven through its surface. The close-up reveals a dense, tactile texture with subtle purple and warmer flecks that keep the colour from appearing flat.

About this fabric

This upholstery fabric reads as a dark, warm garnet rather than a bright or clear red. Fine horizontal and vertical yarn detail creates a softly irregular striped effect, while scattered purple, ochre and red fibres add depth across the cloth. Its dense woven appearance and substantial-looking surface make it well suited to upholstered chairs, sofas and footstools. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use the garnet tone to give a reading chair, window seat or compact sofa a grounded focal point, pairing it with aged timber, dark neutrals and muted plum or ochre accents. Its subtle stripe can sit comfortably alongside plain linens without losing the room’s sense of texture.

A richly textured garnet stripe with enough visual depth to anchor upholstered seating and occasional chairs.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
