Chelsea Fabric

Pure Terracotta is a warm, burnt orange-red plain cloth with a softly textured woven surface. The close-up reveals subtle tonal movement within the earthy shade rather than a completely flat colour.

About this fabric

The visible construction is a fine, even plain weave, giving the swatch a quiet textile texture and a relaxed, versatile character. Its terracotta tone sits between rust and clay, with a gently softened depth that reads warmer in the denser areas of the weave. The restrained surface makes this colourway suitable for upholstery or drapery where a strong, uninterrupted block of colour is wanted. No composition, width, rub-test or performance-feature data has been supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Pair Pure Terracotta with chalky cream, warm oak and aged brass for an earthy scheme, or use it to bring a controlled burnt-orange accent to a room of taupe and stone neutrals.

Use this warm, earthy terracotta as a grounding plain against cream, timber and natural-texture furnishings.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
