Hampstead Sage

Hampstead Fabric

Hampstead Sage is a pale, cool sage-green textile with a fine, closely woven surface. Subtle shifts in the weave give the otherwise plain ground a softly dimensional appearance.

About this fabric

The image shows an even, small-scale weave in a muted sage shade that leans gently towards grey rather than a bright or yellow green. Fine horizontal and vertical threads create a restrained texture, with the surface catching light in delicate tonal variations. No composition, width, rub test or performance features are supplied for this colourway.

How to use it

Use this softened sage as a quiet upholstery or drapery colour in rooms with chalky neutrals, pale timber and warm natural textures. Its cool grey-green depth can also temper brighter botanical greens without becoming a strong accent.

Its cool, softly greyed sage tone and fine woven texture suit calm upholstery, blinds or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
