Hue Comet

Hue Fabric

Hue Comet presents a quiet, earthy taupe-grey ground, with tiny intersecting threads forming a close, almost checked texture. The restrained variation between warm brown and cool grey flecks gives the surface gentle depth rather than a flat block of colour.

About this fabric

The close weave gives this swatch a compact, even appearance, while the minute grid of lighter and darker threads softens its outline. Its taupe-grey colouring sits between mushroom, stone and weathered brown, reading muted and grounded rather than strongly warm or cool. The visible surface is dense and non-fluid, so it visually leans towards upholstery rather than lightweight drapery. No composition, width, rub test or additional performance features have been supplied for this exact colourway.

How to use it

Use Hue Comet on a tailored chair, ottoman or sofa where its mushroom-taupe depth can sit comfortably with warm timber, aged leather and soft stone shades. Its fine tonal weave also works well as a quiet counterpoint to stronger patterned cushions.

A compact taupe-grey weave with subtle tonal variation for quietly tailored upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
