About this fabric

The colour sits between warm brown and cool taupe, giving the swatch a grounded but restrained character. A close, even weave creates subtle tonal variation across the surface rather than a distinct motif. Fine vertical striations add just enough texture to catch the light without making the fabric look glossy or highly patterned. The overall effect is understated and tactile, with a softly settled depth.

How to use it

Use this muted taupe-brown colourway on relaxed upholstery or simple curtains where its quiet vertical grain can sit alongside pale stone, ivory and natural wood. It also provides a gentle, low-contrast base for darker brown or charcoal accents.

Its quiet taupe-brown tone works with natural timber, stone and soft ivory accents.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
