Graphic Fairytale Comic

Kirkby Design X Eley Kishimoto Edition Ii Fabrics Fabric

Graphic Fairytale Comic combines a deep navy-led palette with sharp black-and-white checks, red flashes and intricately drawn floral forms. Its busy, illustrated surface has the visual energy of a graphic comic panel rather than a conventional repeat.

About this fabric

The design is visibly dense and structured, with diagonal bands, checkerboard sections, angular black outlines, grey-blue architectural shapes and clusters of finely detailed white florals. Navy foliage-like forms give the colourway depth, while saturated red accents cut through the cooler black, white and slate-grey ground. The close, textured appearance reads as a substantial woven textile suited to statement upholstery. No performance features or further specification data are supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use it for a feature chair, footstool or occasional upholstered piece where the navy and slate tones can anchor a room. Pair the pattern with plain charcoal, ink blue or soft grey textiles, repeating its red accents sparingly in cushions or artwork.

Use this bold navy, red, black and white design on statement upholstery, balanced with quiet solid textures.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
