Cubic Bumps Lava

Kirkby Design X Eley Kishimoto Fabric

Cubic Bumps Lava brings a vivid, architectural rhythm to the surface, combining warm orange-red blocks with deep plum recesses. Its close woven texture gives the bold colour contrast a tactile, textile-rich finish.

About this fabric

This woven fabric features a repeating arrangement of angular, stepped blocks that create a graphic three-dimensional effect across the surface. The dominant orange-red shapes feel warm and saturated, while plum-purple sections add shadow, depth and a cooler counterpoint. Fine woven lines remain visible within the colour fields, softening the precision of the geometric pattern. The overall impression is energetic and substantial, making this colourway especially suited to statement upholstery.

How to use it

Use Lava on a statement chair, ottoman or sofa where its orange-red warmth can lead the scheme, then temper the plum and strong geometry with plain textiles in warm neutrals or deep aubergine.

Use this vivid geometric weave to energise tailored upholstery and balance it with quieter plain textiles.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
