About this fabric

The monochrome ground shifts between crisp white, charcoal and soft grey, giving the design depth without introducing colour. Repeated panels bring together roses, trees, buildings, abstract leaves, zigzags and checkerboard sections, while broad black curves create a strong directional rhythm. The visibly substantial woven surface and complex tonal pattern suggest a versatile textile for upholstery or drapery, although no composition, width or rub-test information has been supplied.
