Loop Marine

Lines Fabric

Loop Marine is a deeply shaded marine-blue textile with an almost black appearance in the swatch image. Its surface has a fine, tightly woven loop texture that creates quiet tonal variation rather than a bold pattern.

About this fabric

The dense weave reads as a near-black navy, while small blue highlights catch across the surface and prevent the colour from appearing completely flat. Its restrained looped texture gives the cloth a softly tactile, subtly gridded appearance at close range. No performance features are noted in the supplied specification, so the fabric’s suitability here is judged from its visibly substantial woven handle and upholstery-oriented appearance.

How to use it

Pair this cool marine shade with pale timber, chalky neutrals or brushed metal to bring out its blue depth. On a sofa or occasional chair, its low-contrast texture adds interest without introducing a strong motif.

Use its near-black marine depth to give contemporary seating a quietly tailored finish.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
