About this fabric

This fabric shows an abstract pattern of sweeping, irregular marks, with lighter fragments and taupe-beige shapes layered across the surface. Its low-contrast palette gives the design a muted warmth, while the fine woven texture adds subtle depth rather than a glossy finish. The broad motif reads clearly at close range but remains gentle because the tones sit so closely together. No further composition, width, rub-test or performance specification is supplied for this colourway.

How to use it

Use this warm rope-beige colourway on a relaxed armchair, headboard or full-length curtain, pairing it with chalky whites, natural timber and softly weathered taupes. Its restrained contrast works especially well where the painterly pattern should add movement without dominating the room.

A softly tonal beige abstract with painterly movement, suited to upholstery or curtains where a quiet pattern is wanted.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Vandal Rope without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
