About this fabric

This colourway is defined by its cool, nocturnal teal background, which gives the abundant banana leaves, palms and fern fronds a deep, layered character. Cream and pale yellow flowers brighten the design, while coral-pink blooms and blush bird-of-paradise forms add concentrated warmth. The visible linen texture lends the printed surface a natural, tactile quality rather than a flat, glossy finish. Kahanu is 100% linen, approximately 114cm wide, and specified for curtains and fixed upholstery at General Domestic upholstery grade. After-care is dry clean.

How to use it

Pair the deep teal ground with natural wood, warm ivory and muted coral accents for a collected tropical scheme. On fixed upholstery, use the cream flowers to soften the surrounding darkness; as curtains, the dense pattern creates an immersive backdrop.

Use the deep teal ground to anchor lighter upholstery, or let the floral foliage bring colour and movement to full-length curtains.
