About this fabric

In this Buttermilk colourway, the warm cream ground is threaded with subtle oatmeal and beige flecks, creating a softly irregular plain weave. Small looped fibres and fine linear variation are visible across the swatch, catching the light with a tactile, lightly bouclé-like effect. The fabric is approximately 137cm wide and made from 44% viscose, 41% cotton, 9% linen and 6% nylon. It is suitable for curtains and fixed upholstery, with Contract and General Domestic upholstery grades, and should be dry cleaned.

How to use it

Use the warm cream tone to soften timber, natural linen and gentle taupe schemes, or upholster a relaxed armchair where the nubby weave can be appreciated up close. As a curtain, it brings texture and warmth without introducing a strong pattern.

A warm, nubby neutral for relaxed curtains, fixed upholstery and softly textured seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
