About this fabric

The ecru colour sits between ivory and light greige, giving the fabric a muted warmth rather than a stark white appearance. Closely worked horizontal ribs are interrupted by finer linear details, producing visible depth as the light moves across the surface. The swatch has a substantial, upholstery-suitable presence, with raised woven edges and a softly irregular hand evident in the close-up. Its restrained tonal contrast keeps the texture tactile and noticeable without becoming visually busy.

How to use it

Use Trio Ecru on a relaxed armchair, headboard or ottoman where its warm ivory tone can soften darker timber and stone. Pair it with natural linens, pale oak and taupe accents to emphasise the layered woven texture.

Use its pale ecru tone and layered ribbed weave to bring quiet texture to upholstery and occasional pieces.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
