About this fabric

Offset Wallcovering Chalk is a wallpaper design built from offset rectangular sections of thin horizontal black lines on a chalk-pale ground. The line groups vary in density: some bands are airy and fine, while others read as darker, more emphatic bars, giving the otherwise light scheme a measured graphic rhythm. The supplied layout marks an approximately 27.5in (70cm) vertical repeat across 36in (91cm) horizontal sections. In this colourway, the near-white chalk background keeps the pattern cool, clean and bright, while the black accents provide crisp contrast.

How to use it

Use this chalk-and-black colourway where a room needs graphic definition without a heavy block of colour, such as a study, hallway or contemporary dining space. Pair it with pale timber, black accents and quiet neutral upholstery to echo the artwork’s sharp contrast.

Use this crisp chalk-and-black graphic to bring measured contrast to a contemporary or monochrome interior.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
