Timeless Plains Fabric

Patina Silverbirch is a pale silver-grey textile with a fine, closely woven surface. Its subtle tonal variation gives the plain cloth a soft, gently tactile appearance rather than a completely flat finish.

About this fabric

The cool silver-grey shade reads light and airy across the swatch, with a restrained depth that shifts gently as the light catches the small woven intersections. Its pattern is an even plain weave, creating a delicate grid-like texture without a visible motif or repeat. This fine cloth is well suited to drapery, where the quiet surface can retain a clean, understated character. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Patina Silverbirch for relaxed curtains or understated Roman blinds in rooms built around chalky whites, cool stone and pale timber. Its soft silver tone can also temper darker grey or charcoal furnishings without introducing a strong contrast.

A quietly textured silver-grey weave for soft, understated curtains and window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
