Kerala Coromandel Blue

Timeless Prints Fabric

Kerala Coromandel Blue is an airy botanical design on a chalky cream ground, with washed blue foliage and coral-red flowers scattered across the surface. Its pale, timeworn palette gives the dense pattern a light and relaxed character.

About this fabric

The design combines curling leafy stems, fern-like fronds, small blossoms and paisley-shaped botanical forms in a softly layered arrangement. Muted powder blue and blue-grey details sit alongside faded coral and dusty rose-red foliage, while fine grey outlines add definition without making the pattern feel heavy. The cream background remains prominent between the motifs, giving the colourway a bright, gently weathered appearance. As no composition, width or performance specification was supplied, suitability is judged from the visible fine-to-mid-weight printed surface and its versatile scale.

How to use it

Use this colourway to lift a relaxed sitting room with curtain panels, a Roman blind or occasional upholstery. Pair its cool cream and pale blue base with natural timber, chalky whites and small touches of coral to echo the scattered foliage.

Use the chalky cream ground with soft blue and coral accents to brighten relaxed upholstery or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
