Arbutus Sage/Lemon

Morris and Friends Wallpapers WallpaperMOW0043-04

Arbutus Sage/Lemon places branching stems, rounded sage leaves and clusters of lemon-yellow fruit against a soft, pale ground. The restrained green gives the botanical drawing a cool, airy character, while the yellow details add gentle warmth.

About this fabric

The design shows slender brown branches weaving through layered sage and grey-green leaves, with lemon-coloured fruit and small yellow blossom clusters providing brighter points of detail. At a 52 cm usable width, it is supplied in a standard 10.05 m length and has a 154 gsm weight. The vertical pattern repeat is 45.7 cm, while the supplied horizontal repeat is 0 cm. Its pale background and softened, chalky greens keep the overall impression fresh rather than strongly saturated.

How to use it

Pair this Sage/Lemon colourway with warm white, natural timber and quiet linen tones to let the yellow fruit register as a subtle accent. It would suit a bedroom, garden room or hallway where the cool sage foliage can create a light enveloping backdrop.

Use this cool sage and lemon botanical to bring a light, quietly lively garden note to bedrooms, hallways or sitting rooms.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Arbutus Sage/Lemon without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
