About this fabric

The tightly woven surface is built from small chevron-like herringbone rows, with warm taupe and brown fibres interspersed by restrained blue-grey accents. The fine scale and matte texture keep the pattern understated, while the mixed yarn tones prevent the brown from appearing flat. No composition, width, rub-test or other performance specification is supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use this taupe-brown colourway on a classic armchair, dining seat or sofa where its blue-grey flecks can connect with cool stone, weathered timber and muted blue accents. The small herringbone adds texture without imposing a strong graphic pattern.

A softly understated herringbone weave that brings quiet texture and tonal depth to upholstered pieces.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside 1143/R19 without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
