About this fabric

The design is a medium-scale layered check, with uneven vertical and horizontal bands rather than sharply defined stripes. Taupe and beige threads soften the darker charcoal and grey lines, creating a cool, muted colour balance with visible tonal depth. The close-up shows a nubby, irregular weave that breaks up the geometry and gives the surface a softly brushed appearance. No further composition, width or performance specifications were supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use this colourway on a relaxed armchair, sofa or seat cushion where its weathered taupe base can sit comfortably with warm timber, stone and charcoal accents. Keep surrounding patterns quieter so the irregular plaid remains the focal texture.

Use the weathered taupe ground and charcoal check to bring depth to relaxed upholstery schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
