About this fabric

The fabric appears densely woven, with irregular black, charcoal and pale grey threads forming a small-scale textured effect. Subtle changes in the yarn tones keep the surface from reading as flat black, while the darker areas give it a grounded, enveloping character. The compact, weighty-looking weave makes it best suited to upholstery, where its texture can be appreciated across a larger surface. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use this charcoal-and-pale-grey colourway on an occasional chair, sofa or headboard where its dark tonal depth can anchor a room. Pair it with warm timber and soft neutrals to prevent the monochrome weave from feeling stark.

Use this deep monochrome weave to add tactile contrast to lighter walls, timber and polished metal.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
