About this fabric

The design is built from broad checks and narrower stripe groupings, with a prominent rust-red central banding that gives the cloth its distinctive depth. Oatmeal, pale grey and brown grounds soften the red, while darker brown intersections add definition across the grid. The visible surface has a fine, nubby woven texture rather than a smooth or glossy finish. No composition, width, rub-test or performance specification has been supplied for this SKU.

How to use it

The russet tone works particularly well on a statement armchair, ottoman or seat cushion, balanced with warm neutrals and natural timber. Use the darker brown checks to pick up deeper accents elsewhere in the room.

Use this warm rust-and-tan plaid to bring an easy country character to upholstered seating and occasional pieces.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
